I go to the Vineyard too . In Kentucky. I thought I would never go to a church again after growing up as a witness. I had enough church. I was introduced to it by my old bosses. I love it. I truely found the loving God I always knew He was but never got to see.
just had 2 elders at my door coming to check up on me.
they asked how i was doing and usual chit chat.
i asked them about if they had seen dateline and about the child abuse problem.
Not to worry, they probably won't be back. But..................you may get a nice phone call asking you to come and visit them!

i am sitting here being thankful for my greatest gifts that i have, my two daughters.
today my youngest called and wanted to come by for dinner and wanted to know what we wanted for dinner.
she had an hour and 1/2 off from her work at the doctors office and wanted to visit for a while.

Congrats Eman. Your first? They are so much fun. I can play with mine, be silly, goofy and down right weird, no one thinks I'm strange at all. I'm sure my neighbours are wagging their tongues, and I embarrassed my daughter to death this summer when me and my 4 yr. old grandbaby played dress up (in the front yard). She had me wearing a long see-thru pink night gown (over my clothes), high heels, assorted gaudy jewelry and a crown. She was getting married and I was the brides maid. She said I was beauuuuuuuuuuuuuutiiiiiiiiiiful. You can't ask for a better compliment. I'm sure my daughter asks herself on many occasions "Is this the same woman who raised me?" Have a blast.
last night my wife told me that she would be celebrating the holidays with me and the kids.
she said i'm a good husband and i deserve it.
she also said maybe we should look at other religions together.
Just re-read it. Yup there's definately a crack in the wall. If there was'nt she couldn't even allow herself to think of the holidays ooooooooooooooooooooor another church. It's just a matter of time. Don't want her to get spooked by guilt though. Go slooooooooooooooooow.

I've got a warm fuzzy feeling about this.
Don't question, just enjoy. Something is working on her and that's a good thing. Maybe you could both research the trinity together, see what you come up with, together. See where the chips fall. Do some checking and find a few churchs for HER to pick from. Help, but don't push. If she is stubborn she needs to think she is doing it. I'm so happy for you. Good Luck!

hi everyone, tink wanted me to say "hey" to everyone and that she really appreciates everyone caring so much about how she is doing.
she came home yesterday at about 30mph..lol..(tried very hard to steer clear of the bumps) and is confined to the downstairs for now.
her pain is subsiding, which is great considering it is only two days past her surgery.
Maybe that should be DOWN hill? Oh well, you know what I mean

CC you are so sweet, after my surgery, I think my hubby aimed for the bumps.
